SCHOOLWIDE POSITIVE BEHAVIOR SUPPORT (SWPBS) 

Module 5 of the SWPBS Learning Series focuses on key components of a SWPBS acknowledgment system.

MODULE 5 PART 1: INTRODUCTION

In this module, participants are introduced to key ideas regarding a continuum of supports, an acknowledgment system as part of a schoolwide behavior support system, and related fidelity assessment items. Key behavioral science concepts underlying acknowledgment practice, and the benefits of using acknowledgment are presented. Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to recognize the role of behavioral science in a SWPBS acknowledgment system and the benefits of acknowledgment in SWPBS.

MODULE 5 PART 2: PLAN AND PROCEDURES

In this module, participants are introduced to key ideas regarding a continuum of supports, discipline system concepts, and related fidelity assessment items. Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to develop a problem behavior list and definitions as part of an overall schoolwide discipline system.
