MODULE 3: BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS

SCHOOLWIDE POSITIVE BEHAVIOR SUPPORT (SWPBS) 

Module 3 of the SWPBS Learning Series focuses on key ideas for developing schoolwide behavioral expectations and a matrix aligned with those expectations by school settings and locations.

MODULE 3 PART 1: EXPECTATIONS

In this module, participants are introduced to key ideas regarding a continuum of supports, behavioral expectations as part of a schoolwide positive behavior support system, and related fidelity assessment items. Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to recognize guidelines for developing behavioral expectations including the role of student, family, and community involvement.

MODULE 3 PART 2: MATRIX

In this module, participants are introduced to the basic purpose and use of a school behavior matrix aligned with schoolwide behavioral expectations and related fidelity assessment items. Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to recognize guidelines for developing a matrix of behavioral expectations by school settings and locations, including the role of student, family, and community involvement in matrix development.
