The Illinois MTSS Network joins the NIU Center for P-20 Engagement

We are excited to announce that the Illinois Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Network is now part of Northern Illinois University’s Center for P-20 Engagement! We will be working alongside the Illinois Migrant Education Program, NIU STEAM, NIU’s Continuing and Professional Education team, and the Illinois P-20 Network. This new home base for the Illinois MTSS Network will allow for collaboration across all of the entities of the Center for P-20 Engagement and will benefit partners ranging from school districts and postsecondary institutions to state agencies through creating and sharing effective resources and integrating best practice strategies. We look forward to working together to further build out solutions that benefit educators and students.

The Illinois MTSS Network provides high-quality professional learning and coaching for schools and districts to develop and sustain a multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS). MTSS is a framework for continuous improvement that is systemic, prevention-focused and data-informed, providing a coherent continuum of supports responsive to meet the needs of all learners. Our goal remains to build leadership and educator capacity to improve practice and make a positive impact on ALL students.
